Of course there is no sense in doing something you really don't feel like doing. It's all such a fuss with us
But, I myself will continue to go into nature. But that is me. I need it, it calms me like no other thing.
Even when I stay home on my terrass, or just inside, I will get bitten by mosquitos, each day during summertime. Cause I'm just too attractive to them , always have been. Same for fleas: I can't even go to town when it's warm outside, during summertime (especially when damp weather). I will get bitten by fleas cause they are everywhere.
I just can't escape them.
When I'm home or going to a friend's house, I use tea tree oil, it really repels mosquitos and fleas. It smells strong, so I can not use it on every occasion. I always keep Deet in the house, I spray it on my legs (feet to just above knees - a flea jumps about 20cm (8 inches?) high, so just above the knees is more than enough) in summertime when I go to the city center or crowded places outside (we have this yearly city festival that lasts for 11 days, it's almost an infestation then).
And as for ticks, I'm really cautious, don't walk in long grass, check myself each day.
