Are you menopausal or post-menopausal? Do you have hot flashes or sweats during the day too, or just around dusk and at night? If the sweats are occurring mostly at night, from what my LLMD told me, it's most likely Babesia, and you need to be treated for it in some form or another.
I take anti-malarial drugs, and when I forget to take them, the sweats increase. I used to have hot flashes from menopause, but they stopped occurring during the day, plus with Babesia, I sweat profusely, and afterwards everything smells sour, and my pee and poo smell sour too.
It's really weird, and horribly annoying.
My LLMD treats me for Babesia based on symptoms, although I did once test positive for Babesia.
