Okay I see some people posting about the DFM (microscope test) that shows spirochetes (sp?)

Where do you get that test done? Are the spirochetes specific to Lyme spirochetes or just any spirochetes? (Doesn't syphilis show up in blood as spirochetes, too?)

Finally, is it something new, and is it worth getting done?

Yes Girlie.

where you from? i am situated in Est Europe and i found here 3- 4 places to make this test.

i did Elisa test for Borrelia and mycoplasma in Germany and it was negative. of course, if these co infections are from some months- yeess wars in the body, there are no anticorps. Elisa are not good test for Lyme , Borrelia , mycoplasma. well, they are but is not that sensitive.

so i did DFM. and guess what! they are there, in my blood.moving. living..and very nervous.

and the person where i did that test tod me " if you can see it, you got it"

yes, spirochetes can be find in syphilis, so i test myself and my wife also. negative.

my opinion, and others too, it is worth to do this test, oh yeah!

you will see , in time, you are the best detective for all of it. you have to fight, to learn, to search, to read. nobody will do as good as you do.

i was to many doctors. nobody told me about parasites, i had to discover myself.

and i will search it!

a good doctor is first a good detective.

My daughter had it done before she was diagnosed, so the technician didn't identify any critters, but we think there may have been some spirochetes. I'll have to see if the doc that ordered it still has the results. It was interesting and I'd like to have it done sometime.

There are some videos on youtube of various forms of Bb. I had darkfield once a month the first few years while I was trying to find out what was wrong (diagnosis year 10 thanks to Igenex).

We could see what I now know was the cyst form of Lyme in my blood, but only once. Could see what looked like a spirochete curled up in a WBC close to the edge of the blood drop. Could see that all red blood cells were infected for years, but I think that is gone. I think it was Babesia.

Could see yeast, and round bodies form of Lyme. Wish I had known what I was looking at, but finally had an MD do a couple of darkfield studies, and he knew a lot more.

Very useful. When your plasma is full of bacteria and/or your red blood cells are full of protozoa, it's very convincing!

I think the only issue with DFM is that it is not approved for diagnosis - it can be good for personal reference or to back-up a clinical diagnosis but for insurance purposes it isn't great. We did have a user on here awhile back that was quite savvy and did some microscopy themselves. I'll try to see if I can find that thread.

In my opinion DFM is the best test. It show 100% that you have something in your blood.

If you see it...then is there.

Of course, you do not know exactly what is it but atr least you see it.

The best exemple is my situation.

I did borrelia test am pycoplasma. negative.

After i paid, doctors told me that Elisa is very low sensitive. Well...it s a big business here and a lot of money.

After that i went to another clinic, did this DFM and surprise.

Spirochetes
Mycoplasma
Anaplasma
Barronella

They aree there, ALIVE...moving , nervous..

So? I got it? If i trust those Elisa tests i don t. If i look into my blood with microscopy? Oh yeees. they are there.

Welcome to my club....
