Does anyone else have this? Know the cause?
I had an MRI in March which showed slight scoliosis and mild arthritis... However, I didn't have much if any, low back pain at that time.
Really worried because its pretty bad. It's worse when I lay down or sit. Although, when I was out walking today I "tweaked" it and could barely step down on my left leg for 3 blocks, and then the pain disappeared again. Until I sat down. So I guess there might be a mechanical element to the pain as well.
Went to a chiro yesterday (I didn't have him adjust me, just wanted a professionals opinion), and he thought probably muscle inflammation and told me to stop riding the bike (been riding the bike a lot more in the last couple weeks) and walk instead. (He also told me to stop abx and that I would more than likely need to treat an autoimmune disorder the rest of my life........ :( Ugh, this disease is so frustrating....) Based on the exercises he had me do and places he was pushing/pulling, he didn't believe it was a herniated disk or anything like that.
I asked if it could be something more insidious (tumor) and he said he didn't believe something would grow that quickly after having an MRI in March.
I'm concerned though. Especially since the aching pain is worse when I lay down and/or sit. Anyone have back pain like this? I do get sensations and pain down my left hip/leg - I have had the leg pain since the beginning though (hip/sciatic nerve, thigh, shin, calf cramps, and foot pain - mainly left leg - very seldom a twinge of pain on the right...)
Should I push for more imaging or am I being a hypochondriac?
It's hard not to be constantly concerned with the state of my health due to the severity of the symptoms. Not to mention issues Lyme may cause...
