HI, I have been eating this way for a while now. Way before I was diagnosed with Lyme. It has really helped me feel better. I can feel the connection and that helps. It is hard to stop focusing on food. Everything is about
food. It really put me in a further depression at first. But now I have found things that I can tolerate that I actually really love. I make Ghee which is so good. I pile it on. I make pecans by soaking them over night in salt water, then rinse and cook them for 1 1/2 hours at 300. They are so good. Smoothies with 24 hour yogurt. I do have Jasmine white rice every night also.
For the holidays I am really going to miss having a drink! But I am going to try my hardest to concentrate on the family and the happiness rather than the food and drinks. Food is just fuel. Maybe I will buy some really good fruit and have a little bit.
