Igenex or Stoney Brook Labs are the labs that go to the extra expense of having the right testing materials and in training their lab techs to not only perform the tests properly, but read them properly as well. It's well worth the money to have the tests done to have them done with the labs that are best qualified to do them.
Also, the Western Blot only looks for antibodies from the bacteria - from a bacteria that has been proven to lower the immune function. This means that a lot (40%) of those that are infected won't get a positive test result due to the bacteria suppressing the immune response that the test is looking for. The more accurate test to go for would be one looking for the DNA of the bacteria, generally known as PCR testing. It's still just a few vials of blood or urine and your out of the lab.
