I recently started to make my own milk kefir to complement my probiotics in order to repopulate my digestive microflora.

Well, "My Precious" (that's what I call them) have since grown twice their size so I am ready to give some away to anyone interested in the Chicago area. I have probably two tablespoons worth to give away. I should have another two tablespoons in another two weeks. That is how fast they are growing and how healthy they are.

These milk kefir grains were given to me by someone in the same manner that they have been passed along for 1000 years. I wish to keep the tradition alive. The grains are very healthy and have been grown in organic whole cow's milk. You can use cow, goat, sheep or coconut milk. I could eat the extra grains but I just can't see myself doing that to my babies after all that they have done to for me.

If you are interested, please email me and I can meet you somewhere that is convenient to both of us.

These milk kefir and probiotics have resolved or minimized my ulcer pains, my feces has turned from a greenish color to a normal brown color and the bloating and hiccups that I had have gone away. Oh yeah, the candida issues that I had have also gone away.

I started with one tablespoon, then went up to half an ounce, then to an ounce and so on.

I'm in the same boat. I've been freezing them, trying to give them away locally, and have even thrown some away!

Mine are so healthy. The four tlb I've been using in a quart of local organic grass-fed, raw whole milk, takes about 36 - 48 hrs to get to where I like them to be. Now, 2 -3 wks later, the two clumps of about 2 tlb each are now each at least 4 - 6 tbls EACH! Yesterday I transfered them into a 1/2 gal jar to see how they do.

What are the rules on giving some away? I'm on the eastern side of usa, if that matters. I got mine via usps orginally, and they are amazingly healthy, strong, white and grow like they are meant to grow.
And, the kefir is sooooo good.

I make a morning smoothy using the following:

6-8 oz kefir
1/2 tsp dried seaweed
1/4 tsp moringa powder
1 tsp temerrick
1 T ceylon cinamon
1 T hemp hearts
1 T ground flax seeds
1 tsp ground chia seeds
1.5 T local raw honey
1 T fresh ground pepper
1.5 T organic non gmo coconut oil
8-10 berries organic
2 ice cubes (depends)
1/2 c organic parsely w/stems
1/2 c organic cilantro w/stems

Magic Bullet, drink. Yum.
Eat hard boiled egg.
Breakfast finished.
Then onto the 22 pills of the day's first part of the Supplements.
Are we having fun yet? scool
Well, I'm closer to my health today than I was yesterday. tongue

Soaring free, I love your quote at the bottom of your reply.

Well, I hope Traveler and company don't kick our butts :-) At least we won't be alone right?

Seriously, With all the money that is spent on doctor visits, blood tests, supplements, prescription medicine, rife machines, baric oxygen therapy, acupuncture, and all else that we do here, I am glad to save someone some money by giving it away.

I wonder how much money is being put into the world economy just to treat Lyme and co-infections? It has to be a small fortune! Probably not as much as it is spent on cancer, HIV or acid reflux, but it it must be one of the top five.

Soaring Free, maybe you can sell your smoothy at a healthfood store or a local farmer's market. I would certainly buy it since it has all of that good stuff in it. Better than a milk shake from McDonalds ;-)

Thanks, I started saying that to myself, and others, a few months ago.
I had decided I was going to focus on the positive of every situation, if I am able.
Sometimes it takes me some time, and work, to get there,
but this shift in focus has created amazingly
positive gains and changes in every area of my life.

Wouldn't it be fun to end up with a booming business all from
something that became a life-thread to healing from L/co?!

Stranger things have happened! ;) Another one of my fav sayings.
Always on the lookout for the spectacular!
Especially within!

Healing98, it sounds like the initial flare-up in symptoms that you had when you started the kefir have subsided. Are you still drinking one ounce per day?
Unusual rash August 1992, began feeling unwell.
Chronic Fatigue Syndrome diagnosis in November 1992 after having "flu" and never recovering.
Anaplasmosis positive May 2014.
Lyme diagnosis July 2014 based on follow-up IGenex Western Blot, CD57 of 8, symptoms.
Started Cowden Protocol July 2014.
Started with LLMD September 2014.

Focus on today, and let God plan your tomorrows.

Hi Golden Girl, yes they did subside and thank you for asking.

I think that it might have been my fault because I was taking the kefir after dinner and soon thereafter I was taking my nightly dose of antibiotics. I did not realize that probably the abx was fighting with the bacteria and yeast in the kefir. That is probably why I felt like I was herxing.

Now that I am taking the kefir earlier in the day I am doing better.

As long as we don't all get busted for allowing this (giggle!), I think it's great! You are not selling any thing, nor are you trying to give away "medicine", so we might be okay!!

Do be sure that you freeze some as a back up for yourself though, Healing!! I was happily freezing all of my extras and shipping them out all over the place, but then things happened and I had no backups and my kefir babies died! smhair So I'm without right now. I've been buying the ready made kefir from the store lately because I don't have goats for the milk - but I may give in and get some more grains myself. I believe I can make nut milk kefir with water kefir grains??? At least that's what I remember - I'll have to go back and read some more (obviously) before I buy any!

Ok, first two interested people to email me, I'll usps.
I do ask that you pay for the shipping cost.
Probably less than $3.00, depending on where it's going.
I have a scale so I can be exact.

I received mine via usps, purchased through Amazon and an independent seller.
I have had no issues. These are a very strong, healthy bunch.

Anyone interested, let me know.

No I don't have Lyme disease. My sister has been struggling with Lyme for four years now and I am currently a student leaning a lot about Lyme. I hope to help patients with Lyme when I am finished (in 3.5 years).

Have you found any useful therapies? I am looking more into alternative therapies for treating Lyme disease. My sister has found some relief with certain supplement and therapies, but it seems like every case is so different and responds in so many ways.
