I recently started to make my own milk kefir to complement my probiotics in order to repopulate my digestive microflora.
Well, "My Precious" (that's what I call them) have since grown twice their size so I am ready to give some away to anyone interested in the Chicago area. I have probably two tablespoons worth to give away. I should have another two tablespoons in another two weeks. That is how fast they are growing and how healthy they are.
These milk kefir grains were given to me by someone in the same manner that they have been passed along for 1000 years. I wish to keep the tradition alive. The grains are very healthy and have been grown in organic whole cow's milk. You can use cow, goat, sheep or coconut milk. I could eat the extra grains but I just can't see myself doing that to my babies after all that they have done to for me.

These milk kefir and probiotics have resolved or minimized my ulcer pains, my feces has turned from a greenish color to a normal brown color and the bloating and hiccups that I had have gone away. Oh yeah, the candida issues that I had have also gone away.
I started with one tablespoon, then went up to half an ounce, then to an ounce and so on.
