Some insight please:
I have been asleep for most of 2015. I thought it was jet-lag when I got back from the holidays, but when I was still taking 4-hour "naps" 7 days after my return I realized it must be part of the lyme. And then being a waking zombie most days once I finally get out of bed.
I'm on amoxycillin now--could this sleeping be a reaction to it? I have almost no other symptoms from the meds now--no nausea or headaches like I had on the doxy, thank goodness! But in a total exhausted sleep state all day almost everyday. I slept for 6 hours last night , woke my kid for school, slept another 5 hours today and still can't get into a fully awake state this afternoon. Even when I sleep for 8 or 10 hours at night I need to sleep for half of each day lately.
Starting last week the exhaustion is accompanied by constant itching on my entire torso, chest, neck, and face. Driving me crazy! Also having allergies, which I don't usually have in winter and are 1 of my lyme symptoms. Not sure if this is a milder herx or a reaction to the new meds.
I'm also taking NOW Candida Support (amazing!!!) and Chlorella, along with my complete multi-vit by Rainbow Lights & usual detox teas. No reactions before the amoxy--reaction between them now perhaps? Any input is appreciated, thanks!
