Hi all

I know that easy bruising can be a lyme symptom, I've always had it, but I'm wondering about bruises that last a long time/don't go away. For some reason I have one large bruise on my thigh that has faded but not completely. It's easily been a month.

We are pretty sure I just have lyme (no coinfections) but I am slightly iron deficient. Was wondering if you guys have any thoughts. Thanks! Not on any abx currently

I have easy bruising on the front of my lower legs. I think even when I wear socks too tight I get a blu-ish line around my leg!
The lyme doc doesn't seem concerned....

I went for several years getting what I called "spontaneous bruising" mostly on my arms and legs, but occasionally on my torso. My LLMD thought it was more babs related. Usually they occurred quickly and faded in a week or so. But the last batch I got in summer of 2013 are still visible and only recently starting to fad away. I maybe only got one or two new once in past year or so, and nothing new in at least six months.

I took photos and put a date in filename, and made an entry in my daily sx log. I also had reoccurring round dark red rashes that varied from 1/8" to 1/4" in diameter mostly just on my forearms. We thought these were more bart related.

Is it possible that is your bite site?

The bruise on my bite site lasted over a month.

No, bite site was in the groin and I had the EM rash, but never noticed any bruising in close proximity

I don't have any red rashes, it's just like a black and blue traditional looking bruise.

80% looked like typical black and blue, but some were a deeper redish hue. wish I could post a pix here.
