Dr. K says that Lyme bacteria loves hyaluronic acid. This acid is in the joints. He says that we think we have bulged disks because we think we got injured, but likely this is due to infections unless they start due to age. I asked my RN sister why my kids have lower back problems at 5, 9, and 10, they have Lyme/ Bartonella and they had no problems with Their backs until recently. I told her what dr. K said about
She said we have the most H. Acid in our lower back. So that's why the bugs go there! That's why we have lower back problems. After they are done there they move somewhere else :(
I was in a car accident too. But the combination injury/bacteria is what I believed gave me extreme radicular pain. The radicular pain resolved and I rarely get it now, but my back has never been as strong and I can't lift as much as I used to without causing problems and pain in my lower back. I took neurontin for a while but it made me so drowsy that I didn't take it long. I was so sleepy from it, I couldn't function. PT helped but it didn't fix anything.
Dr k uses it as part of his protocol. You can buy it but I haven't got it because I need to read up on it and figure out if it works. Anyway it is a great idea how dr k uses it: one way among a few others is as bait for the bugs because they are addicted to it :). Like I said, I think is a fantastic idea but I don't know how effective it is to fix the damage.
