There is one more LLMD in my state, but he is not recommended.
There is noone in nearby states. The closest would be DC and Bethesda areas, but Dr. J. is no longer recommended, as good as he was, bc he farms all his work out to sub-standard PAs and NPs, from what I understand. I would have to fly.
There may (?) be one in Columbia SC, at the medical center ?? If anyone knows, plz tell me.
Still, not sure how I would get there; wouldn't be able to drive.
I think I have to stay with the LLMD I have now until I find another one. She seems good one on one, and orders the right tests, but she really messed up on the thyroid, and she's disorganized (I figure she's swamped, not to mention that she has Lyme).
The thyroid incident really shook my confidence, bc eventually, I could have died, and my heart would have given out.
jrps, what do you mean with status quo? Do you mean self treating, or do you mean staying with her?
PS, Just found out that (if I drive to the station), Amtrak goes to Columbia. But I only have a vague notion that there's someone there.
