Have you tried something different for your adrenal fatigue? It maybe just that what you are taking isn't very effective for you because your body can't utilize it very well.
Also, how long have you been in treatment for your adrenals? If they were really low when you started treatment, it takes a long while to heal for some. I'm one of those that will likely be in treatment for adrenal fatigue for quite a long while. I was only one step above Addison's when I finally found a doctor that would listen, so I've been in treatment a year already. And, if you have other conditions that pull the body down (I'm hypothyroid too), this complicates matters when trying to heal from adrenal fatigue.
I use Standard Process's Desiccated adrenal, and I take a large dose as per my doc, and eat a high protein diet for adrenal recovery.
I am recovering, but it feels like it's taking forever. I now sleep an average of 7 hours a night. When I first started treatment for my adrenals I could only sleep 3.5 - 4 hours a day - and couldn't nap even if I really needed to. I have the energy to do the grocery shopping and then putting everything away and still be able to fix dinner, weed eat the yard (usually takes an hour or so) and am keeping up with a smallish garden with hubby's help. All things I couldn't do just 6 months ago.
