all the questions lately.....my LLMD is having me make decisions about
what herbal protocol I do and people with experience often offer the best advice.
As some of you know, I've decided to switch over to Buhner's protocols for Lyme and babesia for two reasons: I feel like I've plateaued after being on Cowden for 5 months....and I've been wondering about
possibly having an asymptomatic babesia infection after having hot flashes and balance issues on Cowden's Enula.
That said, I realize the Samento dose I've been taking for Cowden is half of what Buhner recommends for Cat's Claw so I'll be transitioning/increasing slowly.
I wasn't going to take Japanese Knotweed only because I'm already taking Stephania and Buhner says that can be used in the alternate.
And, I wasn't going to take Eleuthero only because Buhner says rhodiola can be used in the alternate and I've been taking that for ages.
I'm sure everyone recognizes the expense involved with herbals and I'm trying to make some cost-effective decisions that hopefully won't compromise my healing.
Green Dragon Botanicals offers LB Tonic Protocol:greendragonbotanicals.com/products/lyme-protocols/lb-tonic-protocol.html
And that seems quite cost-effective.
I know many here mention starting one herb at a time but it looks to me like the herbs in the LB Tonic are mostly supportive with the exception of Cat's Claw.
Would someone please clarify this for me?
Any other recommendations/suggestions are always appreciated.
