If you saw live spirochetes in your blood and you are dealing with symptoms, there's no doubt in my mind that Lyme is to blame.
And, yes, I've had a few head rushes since starting treatment - I call them "whoosh feelings". They were part of a herx for me. I've found many of the symptoms I've experienced to be scary lol
Thankfully, things do get better with proper treatment.
I'm glad you've already read the new to Lyme thread. Have you started detoxing yet? That is key to minimizing our symptoms.
You see, the Lyme bacteria go through growth cycles which include death. As the bacteria die, they release toxins into our bodies....and toxins are what drive our symptoms.
Anything you can do to move those toxins out can only help.
Not only does the new to Lyme thread contain detoxing suggestions but, there's a comprehensive list here:www.tiredoflyme.com/detox-methods.html
And, if you'd like to follow a more natural treatment approach, there are a few protocols that work: Buhner's, Cowden and Byron White...the latter of which needs to be purchased through a physician.
If you're interested in more information about
these protocols, please let us know and we can direct you to it.
Best of luck to you with the doctor appointment! Please let us know how things go.
And, without a doubt, please continue to post here with any questions or concerns. We're here to help.
