Deejavu - if I was your friend I would purchase Buhner's bartonella coinfection book from Amazon. It can be at her house in 1 day.
Contact one of Buhner's herbalists, just listed again on his facebook page:
I think they all do phone consults. Julie is very busy and may not be available.
All of the important tinctures/herbs can be purchased from WoodLandEssence:
and will get to her quickly as well.
Hawthorne is used for endothelial protection and will be good for heart issues. I would have him start on the anti-inflammatory herbs and protective herbs before the antimicrobial ones.
Be prepared for herxing, even though Buhner says that herxing doesn't occur with bartonella die-off.
If anyone can give her good info on detox, you can.
Her son needs to stop playing sports immediately. A child in my daughter's class had the same issues, and passed out 2x while playing basketball. The third time he didn't survive.
He obviously hasn't been treated properly for bartonella, and I frankly wouldn't trust the mainstream medical community to treat him properly now.
