Please note: I, personally never ingest eo. That's a personal choice.

Here's a great video on the Helichrysum EO:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jiYuR6a5Xi0

On a personal note, I have used this oil on my knee massage over the past six months, and this is helping to heal both of the torn meniscus in each knee. Also having amazing success in reducing inflammation in the seven bulging discs (3 in neck, 1 middle back, 3 lower back). With the massage and use of the helichrysum twice a day, I am now able to increase movement in these areas via gentle stretching and breathing techniques, and with this increase, I am now at a 2 pain level, where last year at this time I was a 9 - 10, day and night. I am now able to walk with no pain in my legs, knees, lower back, and therefore I am able to participate in life again, with a genuine smile.

For anyone who might be interested, this has been very beneficial for my healing.

Amazing oil, and truly is Lyme supportive in four major ways:

1. Anti-inflammation
2. Supports Brain and Nerve System
3. Supports Liver Detoxification
4. Healing Skin Wounds, Infection (safe on dogs used with carrier oil, too!!!)

Please Note:
I am not a doctor. I am sharing what has worked for me, and ask those who are interested to conduct your own research and make the correct choice for yourself.

As always, I hope for each of us swift and complete healing in Our Whole Person, because we each deserve to feel and live well.

Hi soaring free!-

What wonderful news! I am so happy that EOs have helped you so much! :)

I have a friend that uses EO all the time. She uses them for headache, stomachache, bug bites, and so much more. She also has a lot of positive experiences with these oils. She doesn't have Lyme, she just like to be more natural with healing.

I wish you all the best with continued success! :)

Thank you for that information Soaring Free!

I broke 2 vertebrae (dr missed 1 until I saw another dr), and have been in severe 24/7 pain for the last 16 months.

And joint pain has been a big issue for 17yrs.

I will give this a try!

You probably use a carrier oil? What is the ratio EO - carrier oil?

Thanks for sharing Soaring Free!

I have some Helichrysum - I bought it along with Marjoram - for my nerve pain - left shoulder blade area...before I was diagnosed with LD. I read on the net that it was good for nerves.
I first put it in a carrier oil and my husband massaged the area with it...but only did that for a few weeks...I didn't like the oily feel on my back.
Then I put it in my warm baths and soaked in it.
I stopped using it after awhile.

I think I will use it on my shoulders and knees.
Question - I have an ultrasound device - I wonder if I could put some of the Essential oil in the gel that I use.
Any idea if that would be okay? (I know you can't give medical advice....but what's your opinion?)

I don't use a carrier oil to start, as this is okay without one. I like the idea of using full strength along with manipulating the nerves, muscles and such around the area. After massaging full strength, if I feel more hands on time needed, I might use fractionated coconut oil (safe for bathing and the drain.) to get some easier movement for a longer massage.

I'm glad to hear others have discovered this amazing essential oil. The healing I'm experiencing is so much cheaper, personal, and less invasive than other traditional ways, such as surgery.

I personally would add the oil to the gel for treatment. It won't hurt and facilitates lessening inflammation. A win-win if you ask me. I'd love to hear the results if you do this. I'm sure you'll be happy with it.

Carrier oil not necessary. Follow how you feel in your 'gut' and physically to figure out what you need. Research and you'll see a carrier oil isn't necessary. I use one for the ease of massage.

Share the results, either positive or not, so we get a broader perspective of results. :) Support is needed for self and all. We are worth help and feeling better every day.

Helichrysum essential oil also chelates mercury (& probably other heavy metals)...so if you do take it internally, it would be good to follow with some kind of binder (such as chlorella)...
