I had lyme for a long time before being diagnosed with 8 positive bands on the western blot.
I also do not believe in "chronic lyme." There is no evidence to prove the bacteria exists beyond course of aggressive treatment, and no evidence that more antibiotics make people feel better.
I think people have other underlying issues, like POTS, which I have. And Lyme causes inflammation which takes time to reduce.
Nobody has been sicker than me, but just because we are sick, and continue to be sick, it doesn't mean it's lyme, or chronic lyme. I don't think she ever tested positive. She also had a burst implant and said she felt much much better after taking it out.
I have to ask, what would you call being infected for 40 years then if not chronic Lyme. Chronic Lyme is disseminated Lyme. What else would you call an infection that was throughout the entire body?
And there's no way you can say no one has ever been sicker than you. Sorry. You're here, right? I'm in touch with several people who are too ill to post on this site, and I've been that way. If there was some way to pull up all of my posts that I've ever made, there is about
one full year where I was too sick to even consider trying to communicate with others. And I'm not the sickest person I've talked with with these infections.
This leads me to ask, do you have Lyme disease? I noticed that your first two posts were on the migraine forum, then you came over here and are saying how the testing is bad (giving false positives) and that there's no such thing as chronic Lyme. No condemnation, just trying to figure out if you have Lyme, or if you are only here with to share your opinions?
