Hi guys-

So if you've read any of my other posts you would know my worst symptoms are psych issues. Depression, anxiety, depersonalization,
Paranoia, ocd. Just to name a few. But the feeling of loosing my mind or going crazy/ going to loose control is the worst!! Does anyone know what this is caused from?

Would it be inflammation in the brain, ammonia in the brain, or just plain old Lyme and co's?

I have just started on some of buhners herbs so I'm really hoping this is my ticket. If any one has any input or ideas of what causes this I would love to hear. Thanks!

It could very well be all of the above.

Japanese Knotweed is one of the most potent anti-inflammatory herbs that crosses the blood brain barrier and clears neurotoxins. It can do wonders for some people as can Kudzu and Stephania.

NeuroAntiTox II CNS/PNS clears ammonia.

And, of course, detoxing always helps ;)

Thanks cd-

I have tried the Nuero antitox and it didn't work out to well for me.

I hope the Japanese knotweed will help. I plan on starting that shortly. I wanted to start with some of buhners psych herbs to get me more stabilized.

I have started kudzu so maybe it will take some time to notice if there is a difference. I also just started l-ornothine for a suspected CBS mutation.

What does Stephania do???

Somethings GOTTA help right??

I'm suffering through similar symptoms. I have been taking the neuro-antitoxin II, also Cowden Pinella/burbur/parsley and mapalo, and just recently I discovered molybdenum. I feel like the combo of those things is really helping those "crazy" "I'm going to die or lose my mind" symptoms. I also feel like I'm more clear headed and can think straight. (I have to say it out loud for fear I will relapse!)

But you might want to try those things in combo, I do feel like they are helping me.

I really like Pinella and Burbur for my neuro stuff.

I'm taking Kudzu, now , as well...but it's too soon to tell if it's helping.

Lisa-
ahhh that's exactly it! feeling like I'm going to die or loose my mind! It's so hard to describe especially to non lymies. Thank you for sharing what's helping you. I have started a supplement with molybdenum in it a few weeks ago.

I will have to try pinella and burbur and parsley.

Japanese Knotweed did wonders for my mental issues. I wonder if I will ever stop it because I never want those symptoms ever again!!

For me it is blood flow in the brain due to inflammation. SPECT scan shows it really clear.

I don't have lyme so I can't say on that. Mine is bartonella.
Babesia duncaii, tularemia, mycoplasma, protomyxzoa, dengue fever - in remission. Bartonella still hanging around.

The suggestions we share on here don't work for everyone because not everyone has the same issues.

NeuroAntitox didn't do anything for me, either. I'm guessing I didn't have excess ammonia in my brain.

However, 1/2 tsp 3x daily Kudzu cleared my brain fog within a month.

Increasing my dose of Japanese Knotweed when herxing helped a lot....and it's something I plan on taking for the rest of my life because of its neuro-protective qualities.

Stephania is an herb that Buhner recommends for Bells Palsy, neuro issues and eye issues. He mentions it can be used in lieu of Japanese Knotweed. I use both.

And, without a doubt, getting a daily detoxing protocol going and continually adding to it will only help.

Here's our famous link for detoxing ideas in the event you need some:

www.tiredoflyme.com/detox-methods.html

There will come a time in your healing when you won't need to employ as many methods but detoxing is something everyone should be doing always since the average American is exposed to over 300 chemicals every day (personal care products, household products (and not just cleaning stuff - our carpets, furniture, etc), car exhaust, smoke of any type, etc., etc., etc.)

It will take time for you to get ahead of the dead bug parts at this point. The longer you wait to increase detoxing, the more the debris accumulates and causes trouble (symptoms).

I'm getting really strong feelings I'll get very ill and it's making me very twitchy, the anxiety levels are surreal and very dominating
Is the Japanese knot weed best to address this, and is it ok with autoimmune illness too?
I am seriously struggling to hold it all together ,the anxiety means l can't function really well enough.
I'm scared of losing it,lm not sleeping and have huge pain ,latest is maddening itchy back driving me nuts.
Hope that you'll have some suggestions!
Thanks

LilaJ.

Are you currently taking anything in particular for the neuro symptoms?

Pinella and Burbur...or Jernigan's Neuro Anti-tox II - CNS/PNS

Kudzu is another one that you could try.

And...of course detoxing in general.

Japanese Knotweed has anti-inflammatory properties, but it also has antibacterial action as well..so it will also be 'killing' spirochetes.
