Interesting, the UVLRX at my doctors is stopped now, too. Something about the study having to be rewritten before it can be resumed.
I have had 7 treatments, noticed nothing until the 4th one when there was a bit of fatigue and then the 5th one caused an awful herx. Nos. 6 and 7 weren't much of anything. I had been feeling so much better and it seems the IVLRX has helped. Hoping 'they' don't shut it down entirely.
^ This. We can't do UVLrx because there are some serious roadblocks with this that is preventing doctors from using it. Our NP gave a long explanation of all of their issues, and I can't begin to summarize it.
Long story short - it's very disappointing. I'm very disappointed. Our NP thinks they will come around, and he is very excited and optimistic about
the positive effects of using it (as well as our functional medicine LLMD is excited about
this technology too).
EVEN IF they get it up and running, I was told they will probably be capping the age at a minimum of 18. That doesn't affect most people here on this board, but it affects three in my family alone!
My Kid#2 has had a really horrible fall regression, and I was holding on to hope for trying this. So, needless to say, I am VERY disappointed. I never felt it was a miracle cure, but I definitely was hopeful in trying it.
Kid#1: Extremely sick for several years, very difficult to treat, improved now but not fully well
Kid#2: Very sick now despite being treated for years, bad year
Kid#3: Was doing very well (ironically had the least and shortest treatment) - but has relapsed
Me: Adv Labs positive 2016 (suspected I passed to my kids) - not as sick as others, mostly battling fatigue, kidney, heart, and yeast issues
