UPDATING - Began protocol in Jan 2015 -nutrition, first herbs in Feb. Cats Claw, then Japanese Knotweed

Curious, what others protocols look like in full.

Base: no sugar, dairy, gluten, caffiene - organic veggies/fruits
have developed a meat aversion. Tried making bone broth and also grass fed beef, made me want to throw up. Went on artkation did not adhere to this and felt I took a few steps back. Working back towards this because body seemed happiest with this.

Not taking on as much! Haven’t had energy anyways. Relationship better. Work stress reduced.

Presently switching it up a bit - trying ZHANG protocol for anti-spirochete/bacterial
ZHANG protocol
Arthal EZ - for arthritis type pain (seems to have helped!) - loved this - discontinued... don't need it any more
[vitamin c, calcium, manganese, boron, glucosamine sulfate, type II Collagen, chondroitin sulfate herbs: san-qi, gingens, dong-quai root, sichuan easel, rhizome, safflower flower, pubescent angelica root, notopteryglum rhizome]

Allicin - 3x a day (finished one bottle - taking a break, back on cats claw - integrating raw garlic instead, cutting up the cloves and dicing the up and swallowing them, cost saving) - LOVED this...too costly, cut out garlic because my stomach wouldn't tolerate it

HH2 capsule
for bartonella
(naturopath suspected this, tired of sore throat - thought to try this - will test for 1 month)
Switched to bulk herbs, cheaper. Couldn't manage the herbs in a tea form so made a tincture - tolerating it well.

Buhner Protocol (haven't integrated all I would like to - $$$)
Cats Claw - taking a break for a few weeks while trying allicin
Added Cats Claw back in when ran out of Allicin
Japanese Knotwood
eleutheros (for fatigue) - don't need this any more!
rhodiola (out of it- for fatigue) - don't need this any more!
greater celandine (for neuro-protection) - don't need this any more - my brain is back - but adding it back in.
liquid melatonin/thc - for sleep (sleeping better, haven't needed it nightly) - don't need as much sleep support any more!
also for sleep
tryptophan, valerian
ADDED 2-3 weeks ago
L-Arginine (important to rule out certain viruses first or makes them multiply)

ADDED last few days (still taking in September)
teasel root
methyl B-12 for a particular gene mutation I have
side acuta - for babesia
serrapeptase - for biofilms
Herxing from this addition (probably should have introduced one herb at a time)

ADDED today
grapefruit seed extract - to break up cysts (used for 2 months. felt it helped)
on my list to add
cordyceps (I was taking capsules, then bought burner's book and realized in such a small amount ineffective)
side acuta - added this and herxed from it... decided to try artemisia

artemesia for babesia
Capryl - taking a break
an anti-fungal - felt I got what I needed

other anti-bacterial
mouth swish with coconut oil (anti-bacterial)
occasional rinse with colloidal silver - mouth, nostrils
ADP- oregano oil

Vitamin C
B-Complex - did not continue when ran out
Biotin (for hair) - did not continue when ran out
Co Enzyme Q10
Milk thistle
vitamin e
vitamin d
great lakes gelatin
Maca boost - ran out, really like this

almonds, arnica under tongue (these two suggested by Orthopedist), white willow bark, add “daily turmeric” to shakes, cherries (suggested by PT)
zyflamend (ran out - not going to add back, too expensive!)

Evening primrose oil
Fish oil
chia seeds, hemp seeds, flax seed (out of this presently)

TJ’s super red drink powder, green drink powder

HPA axis - homeopathic drops
noticed when added this, ability to handle stress seemed to improve!

bentonite - not using as much
apple cider vinegar
epsom salt baths (haven’t had the gnarly pain flares so not taking them any more, also, old bath tub)
dry brushing (not very religiously)
lemon/lime in H20
charcoal tabs
chlorella (also to help with garlic smell)
cilantro (for heavy metals - ran out - make a tea from fresh cilantro)
added sauna in July - noting haven't been doing as much detoxing, some sort of resistance

good idea to add this mustard seed
walk office dog 4x a week at lunch
starting to ride bike to and from work
occasional gigong, resistance stretching
contemporary dance - choreography (taking a break to recoup from recent relapse)

Took a break from all herbs for two weeks, and supplements for three weeks.
Integrated back tinctures i made with JN and CC as well as hout.

DEC - New supplements, began to integrate new things end of November - take supplements every other day
D-Limone - for GERD
huperzine A
Vitamin K
Methyl B12 - Integrated in october.

Added Coffee Enema for detoxing

UPDATE April 13, 2017
In 2016 focused on herbs suggested by Buhner herbalist and used Chronic Tonic
Now experiencing a stress induced relapse

Starting over

Working on cutting out sugar and gluten and dairy - thinking along the lines of the Wahls concept, lots of color, fresh food.

Japanese Knotweed
Cats Claw

For GERD, and gut paina
Deglycerized licorce
digestive enzymes

I like this idea.

Gluten-free, sugar-free, yeast-free. Thinking of doing Wahl's Paleo.

Walking 20-30 min every day. Will consider strength training when I stop Levaquin.

Will be stopping Malarone, Levaquin, and Ceftin, and starting Rifampin and Biaxin.

Herbs & Supplements:
Japanese Knotweed
Cat's Claw
Chinese Cat's Claw (Gou Teng; haven't started yet)
Red Sage (have it, but haven't started yet)
Chinese Skullcap (have it, but haven't started yet)
Cordyceps (have it, but haven't started yet)
C.S.A from Woodland Essence
Artemisinin (pulsing 5 days on, 7 off)
Beyond Balance MC-BAB-2
Black Walnut
Ground Cloves
Olive Leaf
Curcurmin with Black Pepper Extract
Takesumi Bamboo Charcoal Binder
Byron White Detox 2
Omega 3
Magnesium (actually stopping this as Dr. Fry says it greatly promotes biofilm growth)
B-Complex with Vitamin C
Alpha Lipoic Acid (have it, but not starting until Malarone is finished)
Probiotics! Lots!

I'm looking into CoQ10, Great Lakes Gelatin Powder, and houttuynia.

Lavender (at night, usually)
Tea tree

Japanese Knotweed
Cat's Claw
Chinese Skullcap
Cistus Incanus
Neem leaf
Red root

Various supplements:

Pure Encapsulation's multivitamin
Hydroxy B12
Lithium orotate
Milk thistle
Celtic sea salt (sometimes, after I sweat a lot in sauna sessions, not sure how much it "remineralizes" me though)
Activated charcoal (sometimes, if I'm not going through a bout of constipation)

Prescript-Assist (probiotic)
Garden of Life's Ultimate Defense 100 billion (probiotic)
Betaine HCL
Ox bile

I have some antifungals (Ketoconazole and Diflucan) on hand, but not using at the moment. I'd like to get some Nystatin, but money.

Dunno if I should mention, but I got some Naltrexone overseas to try out that LDN stuff. It should be here next week.

I'd probably have more pharms if I had a doc - would really like to try some cholestyramine.

I'm on a few other things (herbs and minor supplements), but stopping them soon, 'cause don't think they're really doing much. I'd also like to add some stuff too, but no telling when/if that'll happen, so won't bother mentioning. May have forgotten a couple items as well, sorry.

Cool to see what everyone is taking.

Bumping this to review notes - back to the drawing board with an uptick in symptoms - feeling a bit overwhelmed by the relapse.

Beginning how I did initially.

Changing my diet and integrating herbs slowly.

Cats Claw
Japanese Knotweed

Activated charcoal

With my relapse I didn't reinvent the wheel. I just went back mostly to what worked the first time. Took a couple of rounds of ABX. Brought back herbs gradually. Brought back all my supps.

The good news my friend is you will bounce back much quicker. Mainly because you wont waste time not knowing what to do or how to do it and spending your valuable time learning on what to do and how to do it. You can just jump right back in.

Also, I believe the body adjusts after the first go round with lyme and also "learns" to handle it better and heal faster.

It took me 1/3 of the time to recover.

I wish you the best of luck.
