Results from blood tests looking for lymes. My first LLMD used high C4a results and symptoms to decide to put me on antibiotics.
May 12 2016 Quest Diagnostics:
Mycoplasma Pneumoniae - IGG, IGM - 4.21 - high - reference range should be <=0.90
White blood count 12.2 - high - this has been this way for a long time with CLL
C4a - 3546 - high - was higher before (10186) the 6 week antibiotic course, which LLMD stated that this shows an infection and it was brought down by antibiotics. But he think that bugs could be in biofilm so not exposed to antibiotics.
IGM/IGG lyme disease bands - all bands negative/non reactive.
January 8, 2016:
Extended Polyclonal Borrelia Culture - Advanced labs - ran from 9/23/15 to 1/8/16 - After 16 weeks negative.
IFA, B Burgdorferi - negative.
Lyme IgM Western Blot - Igenex IGM negative. CDC/NYS Result negative.
Babesia FISH (RNA) - negative.
September 25, 2015:
C4a - 10186.
Welcome Scubaboy. Your first LLMD was very smart to begin treatment based on your symptoms and C4a. That was exactly what happened with me. I also tested very high for EBV. I'm so very glad that my doctor began treatment because my symptoms did increase within a couple of months. My C4a was 15,000 and some change. I've had it retested but the results weren't available at my last appointment.
You asked about
the Argentyn 23 silver. I've been using silver since November of last year, however using this brand since April. My doctor believes very highly in it and always includes it as part of his protocol. Has it made a difference? I don't know. I think it's more cumulative than any one thing.
Anyway I just wanted to stop by to say welcome. I'm sure that you will learn a lot on this forum. Really good people here who are more than willing to share their experiences and knowledge.
