Thanks everyone. Girlie, hi. I understand that he answered the question. I think a lot of us are hearing that we may have had Lyme before and didn't know it so it's confusing, as 1000 Daisies mentions. Thanks for being patient with my lyme brain questions.
1000 Daisies, I'm so sorry your entire family is ill. That is awful. How old are you kids and when you say kid 3 doing the best with least amount of treatment, what does that mean? Again, really sorry to hear your entire family is ill. We must do something about these ticks.
Ooops! Sorry, I almost missed this! I actually replied more on the other thread.
Kid#3 is doing the best, but he seemed to be born healthy/normal though. His treatment was very minimal compared to the others. Yes, he had rounds of herbals (which didn't really seem to do anything). His treatment mostly consisted of one antibiotic, some supplements, and HBOT (hard chamber). But, I suspect that doing HBOT (hard chamber) had the most impact for him (or the combination of the one antibiotic and HBOT). Compared to his siblings (and heck, most people in general), his treatment is rather minimal. And certainly - one antibiotic doesn't seem like it would cover it all (eg coinfections). So, he's very atypical. Especially compared to Kid#1- who was on antibiotics and herbals and so many supplements for several years with painfully slow progress!
Kid#1: Extremely sick for several years, very difficult to treat, improved now but not fully well
Kid#2: Very sick now despite being treated for years
Kid#3: Doing very well (ironically had the least and shortest treatment)
Me: Adv Labs positive 2016 (suspected I passed to my kids) - not as sick as others, mostly battling fatigue and yeast issues
