Maybe that's why I have trouble with stress from time to time! All this time I've been looking for a purple unicorn!!
You actually need to find ways to de-stress. Most of us can only lower our stress levels a bit, if any. When I was raising kids, home schooling them, had a husband going through cancer treatment and had a farm to tend to, I was able to de-stress by playing and talking with my animals - especially the babies.
Everyone has their own ways of de-stressing, though. Now that I no longer have all of that going on, I still play with my dogs and do mindful meditation.
I can still get overwhelmed with stress though, since I'm very sensitive to it because of adrenal exhaustion, so I also take Avena sativa, and just realize that I need to ask for help from time to time. I'm not used to asking for or receiving help, but it's the only way for me heal, so I've had to learn.
Maybe you can incorporate some of these things into you own life, or some of the other suggestions that I'm sure will be posted soon?
What's clear is you have a stressful life right now, and you will likely not heal as quickly while the body is under that much stress, and you could end up with thyroid and/or adrenal issues to deal with by staying under that amount and kinds of stress, so I would really encourage you to find ways.
Hang in there and keep looking for ways to release your stress!
