I have noticed that whenever anyone is having symptoms and/or herxing the advice is almost always includes "up your detoxing" - can you give specifics on how to do that?
I know I need to eliminate more (sorry for TMI but I only go once a day). This is what I take every day:
o Eleuthero
o Yogi detox tea
o Apple cider vinegar
o Spirulina
o Lemon water
o Lots of greens
o Green juice
o Gluthione
o Colloidal silver
o Astragalus
o Sun Warrior immune shield
o Wobezyme PS (just started that today)
o High dose vitamin C/magnesium
o Probiotic/prebiotic
o Essential oil mix on soles of feet
o Dry skin brushing
o No alcohol, dairy, gluten, sugar
I like activated charcoal but don't really do it - if I take it in the night I am then up for two hours and prefer the sleep.
What other detoxing can I add? Thanks.

Huddie good for you. You have a lot covered. Caution as there is such a thing as too much detoxing. I guess what I would say is I think in some situations and throughout the process we will have symptoms and sometimes no amount of detox is going to relieve it altogether. Sometimes you may also have to back off, reduce or remove something from your protocol, especially if it becomes too much for your body to handle. And as you know sometimes the body may not be ready for a particular herb or abx. And then on the other hand, it may never want it.. I think you experienced this with the burbur.

Krimpet,
Thank you. Excellent memory. Yes Burber and Banderol.
I think my issue is that I equate detox with elimination and I am only going once a day. I may take some colosan tomorrow to move things along and get more toxins out.
Thanks!

I think your detoxing is good, as you use so much things.
If you really want something to add, epsom salt would be beneficial.

I do foot bath with epsom salt, as I am unable to do whole body, and it helps, even if it applied only on feet.

It looks to me like you are detoxing fine. Detoxing does not get rid of lyme symptoms. Detoxing just gets the toxins out of our body. Lyme symptoms will stay until they are gone.
Heaven knows I had head pain for the dang longest time. It was about
the first to come and of course, the last to go. I think mine was brain inflammation and lymph node inflammation pushing back and forth.
As for taking something to help you go, I recommend just plain ole fiber that you eat from foods. Also going regularly once a day is fine and should not pose a problem.
Taking something "to go" can cause a dependency. And then your bowels can get lazy and want that over and over to help them.

Peteza,
Thank you so much. I honestly was thinking that detoxing lessens symptoms. Appreciate you clarifying that for me. I never, ever take laxatives and won't even take smooth move tea or those types. If I travel and/or get extremely backed up I take Colosan. It is simply a super high dosage of magnesium that works by oxygenating the colon instead of dehydrating. I have only used it half dozen times. I may take it tomorrow as more of a cleanse.
Also good to know that you had pain for a while. I'm still thinking "Why does my arm hurt today." Guess it doesn't go away in two months!
I'm still shocked that you got bitten on concrete. Can't get that out of my mind. Now nowhere is safe. My beloved woods have become the enemy and now everywhere?
Thanks for inspiring and helping me today Peteza.

The best I can think is that the cat and dog (small one) were roaming all over the property and through the woods and they deposited a tick on the table cloths. Then I came along and picked up all those long flowing table cloths. sheesh.
As for symptoms - oh golly -- it got to be a familiar saying at my house "another symptom." I had so many and so varied. The feeling of a bug crawling on my skin was so annoying. I would slap myself many times a day.
My husband asked me why I was holding my bicep. I said, "it feels like you hit me there." He asked me to use another descript
ion. LOL!! We really began joking about
the symptoms. We had to. It was what got me through them. And his hugs when the symptoms were so unbearable that I would cry. Those were the head pains. I honestly was so afraid of what I would do because those head pains were more than I could handle at times.
I took some test about
my symptoms once and it was depressing because I had so many. When I look back at my journal I just shake my head..... what a mess I was.
Hang in there, you are doing great!!

Ok now you really are my inspiration. I thought you had a mild case and are completely healed. To know you really had so much pain (I'm sorry - and your husband sounds wonderful) and healed is even more inspiring!

I don't think there is mild lyme disease. It just plain ole stinks with so many weird symptoms.
My husband is awesome. He and I have a very happy house with a lot of laughter.
Now we are both a couple of retired kids. We went to a lake today and found driftwood to use as bats and hit rocks into the lake. His went farther but probably would have been caught by a good outfielder. Mine were solid base hits. LOL!! See, that kind of humor.
I better go cook his dinner.
Tonight zucchini made into stripes with my potato peeler and spaghetti sauce with bison burger in it.
Our spaghetti without the pasta

Love that visual of you both at the lake. That is the best, and so sweet.
LOVE zuchhini pasta. I have not tried it with sauce nor bison. I usually just have it with olive oil, lemon, sea salt and avocado. I may make yours in the winter.
Have a playful weekend!
