Thank you, Denikeef.
It could be connected to your adrenals. Be sure to get tested so that you know for sure though - taking things to support adrenals when you don't need it could lead to them crashing.
The best test for adrenals is NOT a blood test, but a saliva test, where saliva is collected 3 or 4 times a day to correctly gauge what your cortisol output is throughout the day, rather than what a blood test would do, which is just a little "snapshot in time", or how your adrenals are functioning at the moment your blood is drawn.
If your doctor won't order it for you, you can order it for yourself through this company: www.truehealthlabs.com/Stop-the-Thyroid-Madness-STTM-Recommended-Test-Panels-s/1947.htm?searching=Y&sort=5&cat=1947&show=100&page=1
Until you get the testing done and get the results back, do be sure to eat several times a day (at least 4) and make sure that you are getting a lot of protein each time you eat.
Rest!! If it's your adrenals, pushing yourself to do too much will only make things worse - and believe me, you don't want them crashing completely. I've found it very difficult to manage my healing of both Lyme and adrenals.
Now, in case it's more of a real need to detox or just because we sometimes do just kind of crash in the afternoons like that), continue to increase your detox and rest during that time of day.
