I could only get geranium (not "rose" geranium) at our health food store.
I don't use the carrier oils because I don't like the greasy feel.
So, i use the recipe that has water and witch hazel.
in the spring and summer, I keep a spray bottle at the front door and spray my lower legs and feet before I go outside.
I was squinting at all the labels without my reading glasses and you may have pointed out something I missed. I need to write everything down before I go back.
Witch hazel is an excellent 'vehicle'. I was thinking as apposed to putting it directly on, by itself.
I tried making a bottle of citrus water spray this Spring...soaking lemon peels in water kind of concoction. It worked first time out but the oil doesn't keep. It has to be made fresh for every day and that just won't work.
Here where I live you have to avoid walking under any trees, because I swear they fall out of these oak trees on me sometimes. Tricky, because I am heavily wooded on my property and in my yard.
