Thanks for taking the time to share your story. Well if lyme treatment helped it sounds like you have lyme. The fact that you are 75% since June is VERY hopeful. Younger people do heal fast. Did you just stop school/work whatever you were doing and heal? My son also had so many 'unrelated' ailments. Perfectly healthy to not growing so we went to endocrinologist, not eating so we thought moody teen, swollen knees took him to sports medicine doctor, stomach aches we thought stress from school, same with anxiety, he would tell us he had trouble taking a deep breathe, we thought he was dramatic, he was in the infirmary at camp because of fever and rash they said it was coxsackie, he's gotten four sudden fevers, he told me a few months ago he told me that he felt like something was crawling inside of him! The list goes on...
What have you taken?
Sam, you really gave me hope tonight. Thanks for being there. I wish you full healing.
I have two jobs but funny thing is that since around the time the symptoms started, one of the jobs was stalled due to renovations at the office. So I have literally been working part time since then and I am actually grateful for this happening as the rest of the time I spent going back and forth to the doctors/LLMD/recuperating. I don't know if someone up there is watching out for me, but it has been a blessing to have some time off. All those things you described about
your son has been the story of my life. Since when I got bit, I have had digestive issues, fatigue issues, weight issues and no one could figure out why its all happening.
So far I took Doxycycline for 2 months along with Vitamin D/C/probiotics. I hated it so I went partial Buhner's with Cat's Claw and things like Monolaurin(which helps with EBV), oil of oregano. Found that my symptoms started returning so I switched to Ceftin for 1 month along with diflucan every 3 days. Now am taking Houttuynia, along with Japanese Knotweed and pulsing Ceftin/Zithromax. Also trying this chronic tonic formula from misty meadows. Traveler healed from this, though she made her own tea using all the herbs in the formula, but I am just trying it out to see how it is.
Thank you Huddie, I am confident that we(including you and your son) will all beat this thing!
