I'm glad to see more and more members going straight to igenex.
I think it might have something to do with "severity". If there wasn't why have any numbered system? The test says = to or greater than 80.
My Ehrilchia "score" was 80 as well and my LLMD in so many words said I don't have a severe infection of it because of the "80" result.
I don't know if any of that is accurate. But in my opinion any infection is "severe" enough for me.
My paper says greater than 20 is positive and my score is 80 on the Ehrlichiosis. It is on the HGA IFA-IgM. My doctor said that would indicate a newer bite.
My Babesiosis score of 80 with a positive being greater than 40 is on the B. Microti IFA-IgG, which my doctor said is from on older bite.
We think that I probably had Babesiosis, but my immune system was strong enough to keep it fairly contained, but I have had a few decades of odd symptoms pop up here and there. We think that the second bite was just too much for my immune system, plus I had had major surgery right before I hit the wall and they may have been the final straw.
I would be thrilled if 80 is considered a mild case!!! My doctor did not indicate one way or the other, but did say that a few weeks of antibiotics could make a significant difference in how I feel. He wants to move me over to herbs as soon as we can. We just don't know when that is yet.
I really like my doctor a lot. He studies all the time!! He is also glad I have connected with this group for more ideas on ways I can work toward healing.
He is very humble!!
