I put a dollop in my fake coffee each morning - about
a heaping measuring tsp. More than that is too much for me.
I use it to cook eggs in, add it to soups and stews (a tablespoon and no one seems to notice) - but my hubby doesn't care for the taste of it either, so I keep it light when I'm cooking for more than just me. I put it in oatmeal, use coconut oil for sauteing onions and such before adding to other foods.... Just keep looking for an opportunity to add a bit more.
I also oil pull with it and tea tree oil - I'm up to 15 drops of tea tree oil now every night.
I like to coat my hair, braid it and then put a scarf on my head to sleep so I don't get it on the pillowcase, then shower the next day. When staying at home all day, I'll sometimes do it during the day and then shower before I change into jammies.
It's also one of my main treatments for my psoriasis - I increase the amount I take internally, take "Align" probiotics (one specific strain - B. infantis) and use coconut oil on my skin. I have a spot on my left index finger that was flaring pretty bad over Thanksgiving here in the US and then the hospital stay for hubby (too much hand washing) and I put coconut oil on it, then covered it with a bandaid for 2 days and it's nearly gone today!! YAY!!!
