PeteZa, you just learn to deal with things, especially when there is zero support from anyone around you. When I was infected as a child, no one believed me - and I do mean no one. So I had to learn to just find ways to deal with all the symptoms I had. It made me be creative in many ways, although I also missed out on a lot of things in life because of it. Often I was just trying to survive instead of enjoying the occasion.
It's not something that I would ever recommend, as it allowed a lot of damage to be done, but when you have zero support from anyone, that leaves a child nothing to turn to. As an adult, I won't sit still for this, so that has a lot to do with my choice to go back to school to become a certified Herbalist. I refuse to be "held hostage" any longer. LOL!
