I've noticed a lot of tension on the forum lately. We have to remember, we are all feeling pretty miserable, and the cold weather sure doesn't help a lot of us with our pain, not to mention that it may be limiting how much we can get 'out and about
We need to have a lot of patience with each other here, as this is our 'safe haven'. We need this place to be free from the stress of being attacked for what we say, or how we say it. Remember, everyone here is either dealing with the same sets of issues, or have a loved one that is, which is very wearing as well.
While we have no rules for how we treat each other, we do want to keep this a very supportive and encouraging place to be. Many of us rely on it as part of our support system.
Should you feel agitated or upset by a post, there are options. You can ignore the post, or the thread (no one is required to post in any one thread); you can hit the ignore button on any post to no longer see that members posts (do NOT do this to Mods though, it can lead to a lot of troubles for everyone, as well as possible banning); you can walk away and take a break for a bit (I've had to use this from time to time myself) or just step away and take a deep, calming breath before responding.
But, let's all work to keep this the
open, caring, supportive place that it has been for quite a while now!!
Thank you for all of your help in this!
