Yes, a positive test for Lyme of any kind should be heeded and treatment needs to be given This is because the current testing is not as accurate as it should be, in that it's not sensitive enough to show positive for everyone that has these infections. I had to undergo a year of treatment before I had a fully positive Lyme test.
