It can be dangerous to stop and start Rifampin drugs -- is that what someone is suggesting? There can be a hypersensitivity syndrome thats possible with any restart.
If one needs to take a Rifampin drug continually to avoid that, would it be counterindicated to do these pulsed babs combos? And what's the best pulsing schedule as it seems like there's a lot of variation or is it just what-one-can-tolerate sorta?

i've seen several of Dr. J's pulsed protocols. One of them is M/W/F 2 weeks on and 1 week off.
On the week 2 Flagyl is added on Th and F only.
He will often prescribe Rifampin plus two other antibiotics to take on the M/W/F.
