I've never had the flu shot. Prior to lyme, I haven't had the flu for over 30 I don't want to mess with that.

A few years ago when my husband started working with our Health Authority...they made it mandatory to have the flu shot...or you have to wear a mask when he's around anybody.

Two out of the three times, he had flu symptoms within a couple weeks of the flu shot.

Borrelia specifically down regulates the immune system to avoid it. Vaccines specifically activate the immune system to produce anti bodies. While Lyme might be stealthily residing in your body, leaving you unawares, the vaccine is stimulating your immune system to WAKE UP! and take notice of what is going on. The typical reductionist view perpetrated by IDS would assume that the vaccine is specific to only one pathogen and only that antibody is produced. The reality is that the immune system reacts in ways that are not always anticipated. Bacteria protected in tissues and biofilms that were previously ignored are suddenly visible to a newly energized immune system. All vaccines will have some subordinate reactions not specifically expected nor universally experienced. Like they say, your mileage may vary.

The sad thing is vaccines don't even work. Have a friend who got the shingle vaccine and still got the shingles. Know people who got the flu vaccine and still got the flu. Why would anyone inject these chemicals in their body and they don't even work. Many of the vaccines have autoimmune diseases listed as side effects. Dr. Rau believes vaccine viruses are cofactors for Lyme disease.
