Has anyone had any luck with Lauricidin or have tried it? I just bought some because my ND said it can help with some of the co-infections. Just wondering if anyone has any input on this product.

I am using it. I haven't noticed anything. Taking 1 scoop a day. I'm pretty sure my doctor said it works for biofilm?

I'm surprised you can take 1 scoop a day without die off... I've heard its really powerful stuff. Mine said it works really well for any viral infections like EBV. He didn't say anything about biofilms. He said GSE (citricidal) is really good for that but I have been weary of taking GSE because of the controversy in whether or not its safe.

Yeah, no issue at all. He mentioned it along with stevia which is why I'm thinking for biofilm? I could be wrong. I will ask when I speak to him next.

I'm aware of the viral component which is why I had bought the lauricidin in the the first place.

I've been taking 2 scoops a day (1 morning and 1 evening) for over a month with no issues. At least none I can discern that are different from the rest of them. I also took 1/2 teaspoon of the Buhner recommended babesia tinctures twice a day with no reaction, so perhaps my system is less responsive than some.
Infected October 2015, diagnosed per lab - RMSF October 2016. EBV, Mycoplasma pneumonia. WB band 41 positive, Babesia positive. Bart symptoms.

I am exactly same way. I did full droppers of CSA & Hout and had no reaction.

I Swear by Lauricidin. This stuff is very potent, but it did wonders for us.

When I had a setback last year, I went on lauricidin and elderberry syrup daily. i also added some tumeric and garlic to the mix. But Lauricidin really did a great job. I started off with only a few pellets a day and got the dose up to two scoops twice a day. It helped clear my candida or lyme relapse, really was never sure what it was.

Now I am giving it to my daughter and it is helping her bladder - she was having accidents every night (she is 6 and 1/2) and once I started the Lauricidin the accidentst stopped. When I stopped the lauricidin, they resumed. So she is on it now for a while. She's got something "leftover" going on.

Do start slow if you decide to take it though!!!

Sorry to bump this thread again, but I just tried my Lauricidin for the first time last night. Two pellets and woke up very fatigued and dizzy.

What have your experiences been?

Anyone else ever try monolaurin or Lauricidin? I think it would help with my mycoplasma. Still waiting to hear back from my LLMD.

Monolaurin or lauricidin has potent killing abilities against two strains of Borrelia this includes Lyme and ALL forms of Lyme, including RB, Spirochetes, has some affinity on cystic forms and disrupts bio-films. There have been a few recent studies on this and it is more potent than most antibiotics.

Google monolaurin borrelia studies PubMed. As for why SOME PEOPLE ARE NOT getting a herx reaction, well I've found that it is ALL about ABSORBING the monolaurin pellets. To do this, I had to suck it up and let them dissolve in my mouth and then after 5min swallow the rest with water. WARNING, it is disgusting and if you can't handle it break up the pellets before hand into a powder like substance and then take with water or food. The best way though is to let them dissolve in your mouth and take it sublingual it will go straight to the brain.

So I'm taking 3 full sized scoops two times per day and this disease still doesn't go away! Do I need to take 3 massive scoops 3 times per day?

What is the limit on this stuff?

I also do 4 full dropper fulls of houttuynia 3 times per day, 2 full dropper fulls of CSA.

Chapelle, how long did you take the monolaurin for?

It's a biofilm buster and fights certain strains of yeast. I'm back on it. Since my yeast DX which includes albicans, I am hoping it's effective for the fight.

Does anyone have any updates on this? How would it affect someone like me, who has a lot of upset stomach and acid reflux?
Thanks, Aylett

I just got mine in the mail a couple days ago and am working my way up to 20 drops. I'm only at 3 right now twice a day and not herxing. I am increasing one drop a day although tonight I may jump to 5.

So far I don't think it has upset my stomach and I have a pretty sensitive stomach.

I use to get terrible acid reflux but that has gone away so far since starting antibiotic treatment a couple months ago.

lymepickle - sorry i never got an alert on the responses to this thread

i took monolaurin for several months. do be careful on how much you take, i do believe there is such a thing as taking too much of something and then causing toxicity. if i were you i would not go beyond taking 2 scopps a day.

nichostetler - really?? how is it that the acid reflux was taken care of with antibiotics? were you diagnosed with Hpylori? which ones did you take? bc i have an acid reflux issue now that i didn't have before, and i have concluded that it is possible that the lyme bacteria messed up my stomach flora. I am currently taking high doses of probiotics and fish oil along with vitamins and coq10. I ordered digestive enzymes, bc i have a feeling i am not absorbing or digesting things properly. dont know if its bc of leftover infection, or if it could be a flare or candida. but something isn't right with my stomach.

I was negative for Hpylori and I guess I cant say for sure what stopped the acid reflux. It all seemed to subside while treating lyme though. Although maybe it will come back again.

I am taking pretty much the same supplements. I have only worked up to 10 pellets of monolaurin. That stuff gives me terrible herx reactions. How do you do on it?

I'm sorry I thought this was my thread about cryptolepis so that's what I was talking about when I was talking about the drops.

I have been taking lauricidin for a couple months. Like I said I can only take 10 pellets and that makes me feel terrible. I have worked my way up very slowly.

I would assume I am having a strong herx because I have mycoplasma, but who knows.

I'm sorry you feel so bad when you take this stuff. At least there's no stomach upset.
Are you just swallowing the pellets immediately? Or are you doing 5 minutes sublingual?
Overall, do you think the Lauricidin/monolaurin is making you feel better? If so, how so?
Thanks again and cheers to continued healing! Aylett

i herxed tremendously last year when i took it initially. i would get pinchy, wet my pants (very embarrassing), and get SUPER DUPER sleepy!! that was the funniest thing of all.

this year, when i reintroduced it for a few weeks, not much happened. (i use it to treat candida alternating with other herbs when i feel my yeast levels are too high)

i am playing around with different herbs to try to figure out what will clear the minor symptoms that i have right now.

It's hard for me to tell if its the lauricidin that is helping me. I think the antibiotics are helping more than anything. I am swallowing right away. Not doing 5 minutes sublingual.
