I'm glad for this thread because I've been curious about the use of saunas. Just wondering if it's only infared that help. For example, my gym has a sauna- do you think doing weekly sits in it might be helpful? I can't stay in long as I've always been fairly sensitive to the heat, but was thinking that 5-10 minute sessions could be good.
I just wanted to comment that I can't handle heat at all. Summers are miserable for me.
Having said that, after I did a month of periodic infrared saunas over prior winter, something changed in me that I was able to handle the summer heat better than I have ever had previously.
FWIW - I can handle infrared sauna heat ok!
Kid#1: Extremely sick for several years, very difficult to treat, but much better lately!
Kid#2: Very sick now despite being treated for years, very bad year
Kid#3: Doing great, minor relapse, but great again (ironically had least and shortest treatment)!
Me: Adv Labs positive 2016 (suspected I passed to my kids) - not as sick as others, mostly battling fatigue, kidney, heart, and yeast issues
