I have been taking Acetyl-L-Carnitine for a couple days now and feel amazing. Like, feel like my old self amazing. I'm doing 500 mg x 3/day. My main issues were lightheadedness/tipsy/spacy/drunk feeling and fatigue and the Acetyl-L-Carnitine is blasting right through those symptoms.

Not claiming cured, but man does this feel good. Highly recommend this stuff for people dealing with neuro as primary issue.

Thanks for posting Lymepilot

I took it really early on - pre-diagnosis...but didn't notice anything...maybe I should give it another try.

Hi Lymepilot!-

I am so happy to hear about your symptoms getting better! YAY!!

What name brand of the Acetyl are you taking? Is it the "Now" brand or "Natures Way"? Or some other brand?

I am interested in this and would like to ask my doctor about trying it.

Did you try this on your own, or did your doctor suggest that you try it?

I hope that you continue to make progress!!

Best Wishes!

Well, congratulations on feeling better!! That's Awesome!!

Yet another thing I still need to look into for myself, although my neuro issues aren't nearly as bad as they were, I still have them. Thanks for the information, Lymepilot!!

Funny you mentioned this. I was just reading today about l-carnitine. It is supposedly good for treating muscle and nerve pain as well. Glad you're feeling do well with it!

Acetyl-L-Carnitine works great. It also has a nice sour taste. It helps me to focus and gives me motivation and energy without gitters. I feel like my IQ or at least me verbal fluency has increased with it too. ALC with r-alpha-lipoic acid is the only thing that worked to prop me up and get me moving.

Did anyone have stomach issues while taking L-Carnitine?

I am trying to narrow down what is causing my stomach issues.. either herbs or L-Carnitine...
It helps my feet pain tremendously, but I've been having severe stomach crumps and nausea...I read this can be one of the side-effects of L-Carnitine
