Hello.

We are desperate to find a very seasoned and experienced PEDIATRIC LLMD for our kids, particularly our ten year old daughter. Two of my three kids were bit last summer. My youngest is doing great (hallelujah!)! My middle daughter is deeply impacted by Lyme and Babesia. She has been on meds since December and her improvement is minimal at best and is being treated by a local LLMD who sees both pediatrics and adults. We are willing to travel anywhere within the US to be seen and we want to see someone who only sees kids with Lyme and associated infections. Thanks so much in advance.

Please send me a private message so we don't jeopardize the safety of the MDs. Thx!

Evanston - your email isn't enabled - so you can email me if you want.

I know of two.

One is in CT and the other is in Washington, DC.

Girlie that link doesn't work for me.

This link below is a little better but if you want his address and phone number you need to google him with health grades.

DS goes to the clinic in DC. The clinic head doesn't see pediatric patients but the practitioners he's trained do and they consult with him. The most renowned pediatric LLMD is in CT and has treated many children the past few decades. If you have questions about the DC place feel free to email me.

You could also consider:

www.lymecenterne.com. She trained under Dr J in CT. and is only about 30 minutes from PVD airport.

But some strains of Babs are tough to treat, and what worked more quickly with your other children may not be as effective with your middle child. You may need to give it more time. Many of us here have treated babs much longer than six months.

Evanston, you need to enable your email for people to send you information. This will also bump your post back up to the top of page 1 though.
