Fevers can be common for some people, depending on what strains of Lyme they have and there's the possibility of things like Mycoplasma that cause fevers as well.
If the fever is not too high, just high enough to make you uncomfortable, then the choice is yours to take it. But if your fever is getting high, then you need to make sure your doctor is fully aware of this and is acting to help deal with it.
If it's just uncomfortable, you can do as TxBart is doing, and take a cool shower/bath or find other ways of cooling your body back down some though.
