My "head pain" or what my doctor said was a migraine, made me seek a doctor for pain help. I tried all the herbal relaxing stuff I could, tried aroma therapy, tried anti-inflammatory meds, finally the doc gave me a narcotic and it did nothing.
It got so bad that I asked for depression meds. The doc said I would have to take it every day and could not just stop it on my own. This scared me. I studied more herbs and decided to keep the script
on my desk and it was there as a lifesaver if I absolutely could not deal.
For the herbs I did Japanese Knotweed (this is an amazing herb for me, but I know some have trouble with it. I was fortunate). Hawthorn, Motherwort, Red Root and lymph massage. I honestly think a lot of my pain was swollen lymph nodes. I had a sluggish lymph system. But who knows.
This disease is such a stinker. There is not one set of symptoms, and consequently not one set of treatments. I felt like a guinea pig trying this and that.
