I'm so very sorry, Joyous!!! I know how hard it is to hold it all together during these times. Are you in a place where you can take out those aggressions in a safe manner? I used to go outside and use a large branch to beat on trees - or split firewood - or dig a hole (lol), but you could also scream into a pillow - or beat that pillow up.

Also, try increasing your anti-inflammatories, that's what has helped me the most, as well as making sure that my body was detoxing well.

Best of luck to get through this stressful time!!!

For RAGE, Buhner recommends:

Uncaria rhychophylla (Gou-teng) or
Cryptolepis sanguinolenta or
Tryptophan

I was directed to this site when I was super irritable - www.tiredoflyme.com/irritability.html

Irritable? heck, I was full of rage. My emotions were all messed up. My physical body was failing me. I was a total mess.

I think we all search for answers and we all try so many different things. We just want a little peace in our lives and most of all we want our old self back.

Hang in there and try different remedies. I did breathing exercises and yoga. Finally it was summer and swimming was my "happy place." I also found a nice creek that I could sit by and just be one with nature. There were times where the shower was a place I could cry hard and be alone, just to let some emotions out.

I hope you find your happy place. Please hang in there and know that it doesn't stay forever.

Hang in there Joyous,

If you are able, try to just take control of your breathing and relax your shoulders. Let all things around you and all you are thinking about or feeling go...
Just put yourself in a place that you are very aware of your breathing and the calming feeling when you relax your shoulders, neck, arms.

The infections cant take all our power away. Its our body and it can be a powerful thing to use what we can from inside to take us to a more calm state.

Take care, Jo

goshawk, I relaxed just reading your post...lol

Joyous, I hate the rage. I sometimes look like a crazy lady. I surprise myself when I have outbursts and then I have to apologize....really apologize, after it calms down. Journaling or coming to this site can be helpful, too. Be glad when the rage is a thing of the past.

I wound up drinking wine. I have zero coping skills at this point. Oh and I took 2 prozac and cod liver oil. Woke up - spent half the night awake - took a sedative to sleep again. Managed one more hour of sleep before woken up. This is my life for the past 7 years.

I'm so sorry Joyous. I wish I had answers for you that would help.

If you keep a journal, is there any time during all of this over the years where you were at a better place even if it was for a short time?

There might be some clues when looking over your treatment to see if anything helped a bit better or even now its good to look at your current treatment and see if anything should be changed up.

Well take care and I wish you the best, Jo

It is old trauma being magnified by helplessness. I don't want to die without trying one last time to heal that.

This rage is new for me, l have lots of Bart symptoms include neurological, lots of pins needles tremors
I seem to go between rage and fear,
It feels like I've been hijacked by an invisible force.
I'm too ill ( cold, burning feet, sore eyes and burning mouth) to get out into nature which was my huge resource before..
Do people actually heal from Bart, or get it under control so can function again?!?

Hi LilaJ,
Sorry that you are having these symptoms and dealing with Bartonella.

People do get better but it takes time and figuring out the right treatment and lots of detoxing.

I understand, I have Bart also and while I was doing much better a few months ago it has really come back with a vengeance lately.

Previously Sida acuta tincture helped me get rid of the tremors and electric current .

The fear did go away too, not sure what specifically helped with that, probably just overall treatment and time.

Just want to say hang in there and I wish you the best of healing, I hope you get some reduction in these symptoms soon.

Hopefully others will chime in about the rage, I know I have seen others post about that symptom.

Are you under an llmd's care? Treating with ABX and/or herbals?

Hi
I was reading your post. I do not have Lyme but I have mold illness which I call the sister cousin to lyme. I am going to a clinic in clearwater with Dr mink off in Jan. I have been to about 30 doctors, and just now figured out I had toxic mold. Dr Minkoff and others use iv ozone blood therapy and also hocatt. This is a big part of the program for treating moth Lyme and mold. I have =been researching for a few years now as I also have mycoplasma. I have also been on cholestyramine which works well. Just wanted to share this. Dr Minkoff has a lot of information on his website that may be of great help to you.
I wish you the best. I am going to Dr Minkoff as a last resort. He seems to know his stuff.

Lila,

I'm using Stephen Buhner's herbal protocol for bartonella and Lyme. I'm doing the full bartonella protocol and have had improvements. I still have bad days but I can tell the herbs are working, especially IHA formula (isatis/houttynia/alchornia) and Sida acuta. I had to start at tiny doses and increase very slowly. Lion's mane and Gou-teng also seem to help with the neuro symptoms.

use the rage and do something new. Curse twice maybe more and then find something new to add to your own protocol. Sauna-dental-antibiotics-detox-ozone-colonic-throw every punch.

Many thanks to you, I am hanging on in here!
I've not yet had any treatment except initial.antibiotics( assume they didn't work as I have autoimmunity issues), they intensified gi issues( don't know if it's candida or something), l had doxy 2 weeks then azithromycin 1 week from GP. No current meds except for dry eye condition, and I'm looking for a Llmd near me in northern UK.
