I'm trying to work this puzzle again.
When I was diagnosed a year ago I my initial blood work showed excessive B6 and I was told to stop all B6.
I was also in good range on folate and B12 but found to have MTHFR 677&1298 hetero. I was given Deplin 15 ( methylfolate). My LLMD added Methylcobalamin shots 3 times a week.
Recent blood work by my regular doc showed my B12 over 2000.
She said stop the shots but my LLMD said that blood vs cellular B12 levels are not the same and to keep on.
My regular doc (the one who ID'd the MTHFR) is insisting that excessive B12 will "change the architecture of the brain"
I'm lost on this one, I get so tired of having to focus hard enough to put on my Dr hat and figure out what I need for me.
