Most dentists - unless they're a biological dentist won't be concerned about
an amalgam filling.
So, if you requested the amalgam...then he's going to give you that.
My dentist is 'familiar' with lyme disease...but she thinks amalgams are fine...for those who can't afford the composites.
I had two mercury amalgams replaced in July (with composites) and I had no symptoms increase as a result.
She isn't a biological dentist, so no oxygen. I did have a rubber dam on, and I prepped prior with Activated charcoal...and continued to take it often for several days after.
Hope your symptoms normalize soon! Have you been taking a binder since the procedure?
