. . . . Try some herbs for the neuro/psych symptoms. You may need to try different ones to find out what helps you. Coral root, motherwort, Pasque flower are calming herbs that Buhner recommends. For neuroborreliosis, Buhner says Gou-teng (Uncaria rhynchophylla) is crucial. Also, he says lion's mane and Chinese senega root can heal nerve damage.
I will give those herbs a shot that you suggested. Are the capsules or tinctures better to order for them and how often should I take them? Where should I order them from? I'm trying to get used to spacing everything out but I still struggle with that.
I looked these up in Buhner's babesia book. Here is what he says for those:
For Anxiety/Hysteria:Pasqueflower (Pulsatilla patens)
: tincture, 10 drops each hour for as long as necessary, and/or . . .Motherwort (Leonurus cadiaca)
: tincture, 1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon up to 6x daily, and/or . . .Coral root (Corallorhiza maculata
: tincture, 30 drops (a full dropper) up to 6x daily
From www.buhnerhealinglyme.com website:
For neuroborreliosis:Gou-teng (Uncaria rhynchophylla)
: tincture, 1/2 - 1 tsp 3-6x day, depending on severity of brain infection (This one I get from Woodland Essence: www.woodlandessence.com.)
I'm not taking the ones above, but the vendors Buhner recommends for most of the tinctures include:
www.elkmountainherbs.comChinese senega root
tincture of the dried root - 30 drops 3x day (contraindicated in those with uclers or gastritis) www.elkmountainherbs.com (I don't see it listed on their site now.)Lion's mane
tincture - 1/4 - 1/2 tsp up to 6x day long term. Buhner only recommends www.beneficialbotanicals.com for this one. (I used Woodland Essence's lion's mane, but it is less potent. That's probably why Buhner only recommends the one by Beneficial Botanicals.)
I just ordered a lot more supps and herbals but I think I'll try adding at least just one of these for now.Probably the Gou teng than lion's mane.
