We can't really rely on testing to know when we're in remission.
The Elisa and WB relies on your immune system - a negative could just mean your immune system didn't mount a response. That could happen even if you do have an active infection because our immune systems are suppressed with these infections.
A PCR relies on detecting the DNA of the bacteria in the urine or blood sample.
If it's negative - it could be that relatively small sample didn't have any of the DNA present.
But doesn't rule out active infection.
Why didn't you mention your positive test for Bart?
If you haven't treated for Bart - you should discuss this with your Dr. But you should be seeing a LLMD.
