Hi and welcome to our group,

Just want to stop by and say Hello. Not sure if you are aware that there is a "Texas Lyme Support Group" on Facebook that you may be interested as well.

I wish you the best of healing, Take care, Jo

Hi Shonna. I’m unable to send a private message to you, so please contact me through this forum. I used to see an LLMD in Marble Falls. TX. Let me know if you would like the info.
All the best to you.

Shonna, as goshawk mentioned, there is the Texas Lyme Support Group on Facebook that has had quite a few discussions about the different LLMDs here in Texas. There is one in Marble Falls and two in Austin. There is also a naturopath in Austin who is very knowledgeable about Lyme and cos (she studied with Dr. K and has successfully battled Lyme herself) and refers out to the LLMDs when necessary. From everything I've heard, the best LLMD in Texas is in Denton. Depending on how complicated your case is, you may want to go straight to him. Feel free to email me for more info.

Also, a great resource is the Texas Lyme Disease Association. They were the first people I contacted when I suspected Lyme. A volunteer called me within a day and talked to me for over an hour answering questions, giving me doctor info and sharing her story. They followed up with email and another phone call. They gave me a great foundation for starting my fight.
