Hi all,

I wanted to put this out there as I just learned about it. My 7 year old had been exhibiting extreme anger / rage / emotional lability issues for some time. My older daughter had had the same issues when she was younger, and when we got her off gluten, they completely turned around.

We were hoping that if we did the same for my younger daughter, it would help, but it didn't. We tried all kinds of various things that we were hoping would help but none did. Finally, my LLND suggested she might have yeast issues. So we did a test, and it came back positive. She's been on essential oils pills we got from a compounding pharmacy for 3 weeks, and she's made SUCH amazing improvements.

Where she would once wake up on a school morning and cry, rage and tantrum from the moment she woke up until we dropped her off at school over anything and everything, now she wakes up, gets ready for school, and many mornings there's no crying at all.

In case you're experiencing anger / rage (or your kids), and haven't been tested for yeast, it might be what's going on.

Anger and rage/ irritation are problems I have been dealing with since my lyme diagnosis. I definitely think it has to do with the coinfections and my candida problems.
22 years old, symptoms started in 2013 and was diagnosed in 2015
HHV6/EBV
Lyme
Bartonella
MTHFR
ecoli+klebsiella
Candida

Treating with multiple vitamins + Supplements, Byron white formulas, and bee venom therapy.

Know all about the rage and anger with my DH! Wish more doctors/NP/LLMDS knew about yeast.

PeppermintTea - I totally agree! I was talking with my DH about it; that if we didn't know she had Lyme, and I wasn't seeing a Naturopath, we would have gone to the pediatrician and probably ended up with an ODD (Oppositional Defiant Disorder) diagnosis, or something similar, with either no treatment or some kind of pharmaceutical that's only addressing the symptoms instead of the root cause.

How many kids out there have a physical ailment that medical doctors are assigning a psychological label to? It's heartbreaking!

Wow, so glad you figured this out and so happy for your daughter to be feeling herself. I bet she is happy too.

Thanks, Peetza! I can't tell you what a relief it is to know that it was a physical symptom and one that we don't have to deal with constantly! The amount of energy my husband and I spent trying to calm her down was staggering, and really hard on the other kids.

Yes, she used to cry and tell me how she hated feeling so angry all the time and how she couldn't help it, and it just broke my heart, but I couldn't fix it for her.

Now we just need to keep it under control. My LLND has us focusing on metal detox, as she says that yeast thrive in a body with a lot of metal.
