As a lot of you know from my previous posts, I started mepron almost 4 weeks ago. Last week, I took a three day break because I was doing a stool test. I felt sick last week, but I think that was due to a bug.. I started my meds back up on Thursday night and felt better Friday/Saturday.

Then, yesterday (Sunday) and so far today, I have felt absolutely horrible. I was trying to do some Christmas shopping for my family and was heading to the back corner of the store to check out. My girlfriend had to tell me that I was heading the wrong direction and then I was really confused and had to think pretty hard to remember that it was in the front. I go to this target alll the time..

The worst for me right now is this confusion in the form of brain fog.. it almost feels like it is hard to focus and think clearly. Like everything is in slow motion. When I was shopping it just made me feel veryyy overwhelmed and I could barley look at anything.

I haven't felt this bad brain fog wise since I first realized I had Lyme almost two years ago.

It's just really scary. I feel like I'm losing my mind and I am not sure if it is from stopping them Mepron for three days then starting or if it's killing off babesia, side effects, or what.. My foot pain has also been increasing in the morning, so maybe its bartonella starting to show itself more? I just dont know...

I also took artemisinin friday, saturday and sunday. I do this every two weeks. I took two friday night then only one on saturday and sunday since I thought the reaction could've been from that.. but I have never had issues with it before.
Very sick starting around 07/2016

Oh gosh how I remember the brain fog. Being lost was horrible for me. I have never been one to be directional challenged ever. It happened one day as I was driving and hubby was with me. I drove right by the restaurant we were suppose to go to.

I just cried..... I was so out of it.

Needless to say, I didn't drive for awhile after that.

You know I am not good with pharm meds so someone else will be along. Just wanted you to know I feel for you.

Hi, just wanted to say I started crypto and sida for babesia a couple of weeks ago and I am having these exact same symptoms along with an increase in nausea and difficulty breathing. Feeling super trippy and confused right now but I'm hoping it's just the treatment doing its job! Hope this info is useful somehow!

I am glad I am not the only one.. what finally cleared it up for you?

I am very very good with directions too, so that scared me as well.

I did Buhner's core protocol and 2 items of Beyond Balance.

I was on so many herbs when my symptoms started disappearing. I really have never been able to say "this herb is what works for this" because I was always taking so many. So was it the last one I added in? Or was it the combination?

I wish I knew...... But I do believe Buhner has it pretty right.

One of the things I did use that is not on the core protocol was gou-teng, which is uncaria rhynchophylla.

Do you have Buhner's book? Buhner also suggests Skullcap (which is part of the core protocol) and many on here (but I did not try this one) do Kudzu root. Also NAC and motherwort were herbs I also added to the core protocol.

I tell you there was a section of my kitchen counter that looked like I was dealing tinctures. I had them all lined up and in an order I could easily remember. I would get my highball glass and start down the rows putting in tincture drops of each bottle and then topping it off with a splash of water and chugging it.

3 times a day!

We had to go on vacation and I had a well padded camera bag that was just for my tinctures. I wondered what the maids thought???
