I had an appointment with a ND in my area who is a Lyme Practitioner. She feels with my symptoms it could be Lyme but wants to hold on testing for it. We are also looking into MTHFR issues and will be testing for that. In the meantime, she did give me Banderol and Samento drops to start. Starting off with 1 drop of each 2x a day and see how I react. She feels if I do have severe reaction could be a sign of Lyme.

Just wondering if that makes sense. I do have a thyroid/high RT3 and Adrenals/cortisol are a bit high in the evening.

Symptoms have been fatigue, aches in back, knees, bottom of feet and hips, cold intolerance, cold hands and feet, tingling in fingers more at night, ringing in ears, sensitive to noises and light, low body temperature, thinning skin and hair.

I wonder why she is waiting to test?

Which testing will she do? I hope she is thinking Igenex and not a local lab.

I never did Banderol or Samento so I can't give advice on those.

I guess what your doc is looking for is a herx (severe reaction).

What if you don't have a severe reaction?

I never did have a severe reaction to any of the herbs I took. There is a possibility that could happen to you, but you could still have lyme.

I read somewhere to take Samento and Banderol apart by 15 minutes or so.

The Cowden Schedule shows the Samento and Banderol on different days.
I don't know if that changes after being on it for awhile...I scrolled down a bit and still see they're on separate days.

Maybe that's what you should be doing? See what your Dr. says.

Here's the schedule;
