Dear Group,

I am new to this. I got a result in September 2017 that said the following:

2 Borrelia b. Full Antigen 1 SI

2 Borrelia b. OSP-Mix 1 SI

2 Borrelia burgdorferi LFA-1 ! 2 SI

this was seen as weak positive. I went to get tested because I was worried about what looked like a mosquito bite I got sitting at a lunch terrace in Provence France a few weeks before around mid august. I had a small cold a few weeks later but I was traveling across the ocean and it was after that I went to get tested in London. I spoke to a few people, my doctor afterwards and I was told that if I was not feeling symptoms I should not worry.

I was feeling nothing for several months actually feeling great, except a bit of back pain but I was doing a lot of yoga. However, over the past two -three weeks I have had these tiny micro headaches, and again some lower back pain and again a cold past on from my kids, but now scratchy throat. Should I be seeing a lyme literate doctor in London? Suggestions? I have started to buy the books on Buhner protocols and klinghardt.

Kind regards,

Mother of two children 11 and 9.. Can I infect them?

Hi AlexaTang - welcome!

Since this is a fairly recent infection, I would try to get in to a LLMD as soon as you can. When it's caught early - treatment with antibiotics are very effective. You don't want to wait until you get more and more symptoms...disemmination.
If you send me an email, I have a few options in England (LLMD) .
When you call - explain the recency - maybe one of the Dr.'s can fit you in sooner than later.

It is thought by many LLMD's that it can be passed on sexually, as well as in utero.

Some also think it can be passed through saliva.

If it were me, I wouldn't do sloppy kisses with my children...don't take any chances.
IMO - kisses on the cheek are fine.

And, you can add in herbals, as well.
